When it comes to dining experiences, some people are all about the ambiance and others are all about the food. However, when it comes to this particular eatery, it's hard to say which is more impressive. The walk up the street to this restaurant is certainly a great way to work up an appetite, but even if you arrived there via teleportation, you'd still be impressed with what you find. Let's start with the lasagna. When it arrived at the table, it was clear that this wasn't going to be a dainty little slice of pasta. This was a beast of a dish, with layers of cheese, noodles, and sauce piled high. The meat sauce was slathered on so generously that you could practically see it dripping off the edges. But hey, that's the way some people like it, right? And in this case, it definitely worked. The lasagna was so hearty that it felt like a meal and a half. In fact, it was so big that there was enough leftover to take home for dinner. That's what we call value for money. But it wasn't just the quantity of the food that made this meal so enjoyable. It was the quality too. Despite being as heavy as a brick, the lasagna was incredibly flavorful. The sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and acidity, and the cheese was melted to perfection. The noodles had just enough texture to give the dish some bite, but not so much that they were chewy. Overall, it was a delicious brick of a lasagna that we devoured happily. To top it all off, we got to enjoy our meal outside on a cute little table that added to the charm of the whole experience. It wasn't the sturdiest piece of furniture, but that just made it all the more endearing. So, whether you walk, bike, or drive to this restaurant, you won't be disappointed. It's a place where you can indulge in some seriously tasty food and enjoy a charming atmosphere.

What a gem! Gorgeous fresh pastas and sauces all made in an open kitchen. Gelato as well, and sandwiches. Ricotta and basil and tomatoes, oh my. Meatballs steal the show even after all that. Vintage vibes in this tiny sit down joint. Not even that expensive, like everything else around here is. I will not forget about this place :) only bad things is there was no toilet paper (or holder) in the bathroom

Freshly made pasta was very good. We stopped here for lunch. Prices were typical for SF, I think. Portions were decent. My son really enjoyed the meat sauce and the “Alfredo” type sauce was amazing.

The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and everything we tried was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent — very friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to and highly recommend.

Italian homemade Pasta Factory SF Customizable pasta spot with variety of sauces. Came here for a casual dinner with my boyfriend on a Friday evening and we had the ravioli with meat sauce and tagliatelle with pesto. It was a generous portion and the team member helping us was friendly. They have dried pastas that you can also buy. Plenty of indoor seating and they have self service water. You pay first and then receive your order.

it's the 2nd best restaurant lasagna I've ever bought in my lifetime. HUGE portion! Very good flavor, the bolognese&bechamel sauce are very complimentary to each other. Staff is friendly.

Delicious and reasonably priced ! I got the fettuccine pasta with a Pasticciata sauce (red) My Aunt got the Fettuccine pasta with a Parmasano sauce (white) she ate some before I took the picture. Good serving size. You can have any combination you want they also have sandwiches and salads

Quick friendly service, really good homemade pasta! My roommate always gets their rigatoni with Salsa Parmigiano sauce and a meatball. Its a white sauce that tastes like it's made with grated Parmigiano. Its good! I always go for tagliatelle with Pasticcita sauce and a meatball. No idea what the sauce is but it's red and tastes sort of like Bolognese. If I'm in the area and hungry I'll most likely go here.
